How Valorant bans work
Valorant is operated by Riot Games and protected by Riot Vanguard, an anti-cheat that runs at system level on Windows. Vanguard bans can be set on the account and, in cheating cases, on the machine as well.
Appeals go to Riot's player support. For a hardware ban, however, the device history – parts bought second-hand, repairs, other users of the PC – can matter as much as the account history, and the appeal should set it out accordingly.

How to appeal a Valorant ban

Save the ban notice
The first step is to secure the Valorant ban message as a screenshot and as text, together with the date, the platform and any reference number or ID it shows.

Find the rule it relies on
The notice usually names a rule. That rule shall be looked up in the terms Riot Games publishes, so that the appeal answers it instead of making a general complaint. Riot Games terms of service

Collect what supports your side
Useful evidence includes purchase receipts, earlier support replies with ticket numbers and, for a device ban, when the PC or console was acquired and who else used it. A password, however, is never part of the evidence.

Send one clear appeal to Riot Games player support for Valorant

Keep the ticket and follow up with facts
The ticket number and the reply shall be kept. If Riot Games refuses, a second request makes sense only with new facts or a clearer explanation; repeating the first request adds nothing.
