Dead by Daylight (DBD) ban wave status

Quiet Updated 6 May 2026

We deployed a ban wave earlier this week against a number of accounts that had obtained content from unauthorized sources. This isn’t permitted under our and first parties EULAs. If your account was affected, please note that as a warning, your permanent ban has been adjusted to be a temporary ban, and will expire on May 12 at 1PM ET. All content unlocked through unauthorized means will be permanently removed from these accounts, and any further purchases from unauthorized sources will result in a permanent ban. Before you appeal

What to keep if you were caught in a wave

In a wave, publishers handle many appeals at once, and short or angry tickets are closed quickly. A clear record of your own account helps a reviewer separate your case from the rest.

  • The full ban notice, as a screenshot and as text.
  • Launcher and anti-cheat logs, and any error or connection messages.
  • Proof that the account is yours: purchase receipts and login history.
  • A timeline of software installs, driver updates, overlays and device changes around the ban.
