How GTA Online bans work
GTA Online is operated by Rockstar Games. Penalties range from temporary suspensions and character resets to permanent bans, and they can follow cheating, modding in online sessions, exploits or money glitches.
Appeals go to Rockstar Support, filed with the Rockstar Games account that was penalised. A good appeal explains the session, any modifications installed for story mode only, and the platform; FiveM bans, by contrast, are handled by FiveM and not by Rockstar Support.

How to appeal a GTA Online ban

Save the ban notice
The first step is to secure the GTA Online ban message as a screenshot and as text, together with the date, the platform and any reference number or ID it shows.

Find the rule it relies on
The notice usually names a rule. That rule shall be looked up in the terms Rockstar Games publishes, so that the appeal answers it instead of making a general complaint. Rockstar Games terms of service

Collect what supports your side
Useful evidence includes purchase receipts, earlier support replies with ticket numbers and, for a device ban, when the PC or console was acquired and who else used it. A password, however, is never part of the evidence.

Send one clear appeal to Rockstar Support

Keep the ticket and follow up with facts
The ticket number and the reply shall be kept. If Rockstar Games refuses, a second request makes sense only with new facts or a clearer explanation; repeating the first request adds nothing.
